Unforgettable Nyhavn, Copenhagen, Denmark

In 2019, I had a chance to go to Scandinavia, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark. These countries are well known as beautiful countries and having beautiful scenery in the the world. As you may have seen on the video. However, it cannot be compared if you have witnessed with your own eyes. So, I decided to go to Copenhagen, Denmark from Oslo, Norway. It was a long journey because I don't want to spend lots of money on travelling. So, I decided to take a bus which is alternative transportation. It took around 7 - 8 hours to be there and it was extremely exhausted. Upon arrival to Copenhagen, first place I went straight was Nyhavn as I have seen on many postcards related about Denmark. It was very stunning scenery. As you can see from the picture below

Even it was dark and cold because I went there in December. Everyone cannot deny that the temperature doesn't effect the beautifulness of Nyhavn. The lights is shining along the canal and it reflects on the surface of water which makes it more memorable. Apart from that Architecture is mind blowing as It reflects Scandinavian style. Along the canal, there are lots of stalls and hawkers which are pretty crowded by people.

The canal is pretty clean and there are no garbage in the water. So, It remains cleanliness of water. During day time, It is more beautiful as you will see the sunlight covering the area and the architecture, building, pier and boats can be easily seen and they are noticeable. What I regrettted the most is that during time I was there, there was no sunlight and sky was not clear.

Despite of beautifulness of Copenhagen, one thing you have to keep in mind is that the price and cost of goods in Copenhagen are extremely expensive such as the food cost me 279 DKK(Danish Krone) per meal. I was pretty shocked with the price at first, however, I managed to survive during my time in Denmark by eating only bread from the convenience store there. It was not that cheap. But It is cheaper than big meals.

The transportation in Copenhagen is convenient, You can use either bus or metro. and It connects around the city pretty well. So, You will not likely to get lost in Copenhagen.

I would suggest if you have chance to go to Denmark, Try one time to go to Nyhavn, It will remind you everyday how beautiful is it.
