Unexpected Journey in Singapore

    

    While traveling, we are not aware that sometimes, you might experience something which you have never prepared before. The unexpected situation can happen and it happened to me in Singapore. However, I had a magnificent time in Singapore. I was staying in Lavender area at first because It was the cheapest hotel I could have. I stayed there for 2 nights. It was quite okay because the hotel was not that big. and In the morning, I walked to Clarke Quay area to see lovely buildings and the river. I was walking like 2 hours in the morning and I started to feel exhausted so I went back to my hotel to get some sleep.

    I was planning to eat bak kut teh at first because It is my favorite dish in Singapore. Surely Bak Kut Teh is well-known for being one of the symbolic dish for those who might want to try local food. Nevertheless, I was up too early at 6.00 AM. hence most of the food store have not opened yet. If i really want to have bak kut teh. I had to wait like 2 hours at least. So, I decided to grab local food around the area and It is kaya toast. By good fortune, It is amazingly tasteful as the kaya was sweet but not too much and the bread was crispy. After having one bite, I was immeditaely ordering for more. After finishing breakfast I realized that it is a good combination between kaya toast and kopi 

    Once finishing all of the breakfast, I was planning to go to Henderson waves, but all the way back to the my hotel was too far. And the unexpected thing was happening as my travel card cannot be used there. And I used almost all of the cash. I was starting to use my credit card and It does not work for some store. I was panicked as I was thinking that I could only stay in the hotel and do nothing. But like thankfully, my friend also visited in Singapore and I saw her from social media. Hence, I borrowed her a money and I paid to her back in transfer money in Thailand. It was rerieved for me. But It took like a day to solve the problem as I was only able to walk around the area as my easy card was running out of money as well. 

    When I was in Singapore, It was quite humid. Therefore, I was sweating a lot. But after I have seen many tourist attractions, the exhaustion was gone. There are tons of statues along the river. 

A long day had finished and the evening has arrived. I was walking to Marina bay in the evening. While watching sunset in Marina Bay. It was quite very beautiful in the evening. Along the way to Marina  Bay, I was walking along the side of Singapore river. It was marvelous and stunningly beautiful. 

Thankfully, It was only drizzle in the evening. It was not raining that heavy. So, I was able to walk to Marina bay sand without getting wet. 

    The reflection from the building was on the surface of the water. It was very glamourous. The way to Marina Bay was not that crowded and I was impressed by pretty much everything I have seen. 

    Once arrived, Marina Bay. I was so thankful that I made it to Marina Bay. At first, I was waiting to light and sound in Marina Bay. But I cannot make it to see light and sound. Walking around Marina Bay it takes around 2 hours, and It ended walking on Helix Bridge before It turned to midnight. 

    It was a long day for me. So, heading to my hotel to take a rest and prepare for the next day. Bye for now.
