Phuket, Thailand, for the first time

Good day! Another year goes by and we get older for one more year. And this year is one of the unforgettable year of writer. I had a chance to go to one of my dream province in Thailand. I have been longing to visit there since I was very young. However, writer has never had a chance to let myself touch down in Phuket, Thailand. To give you for more background regarding Phuket in my perspective. Phuket is one of the stunningly beautiful town in Thailand which locate in South part of Thailand. Phuket is well-known for diversity as It is such as multicultural city and vibrant city. Not only that the nature has created many beaches, capes to make Phuket even beautiful Let's not forget about the food, as Phuket has variety of food which you can experience yourself to get a bit of a taste such as Moo Hong, Mee Hoon and etc. These dishes can be found in Phuket.

For this trip, writer should be thankful to my friends who are local and able to accommodate me as one passenger. We drove around Phuket, as It is quite hard to visit places in Phuket with public transportations. I personally cannot drive a car hence there is no chance for me to travel around without my friends. My friends and I booked a spacious pool villa nearby the beach. It is big enough to pack 12 persons of us in a house.
On the first day, we went straight to Kata beach which is well known for stunningly beautiful with clean beach. The writer has no clue why the weather on that day was perfectly fine for us as It was not hot at all. It was quite comfy at the time. Not long after we drove to one of the memorable place in the trip is the amazing scenery is the cape in Phuket.

We were quite exhausted as we have wandered around Phuket for whole day. But to see the view, tiredness is eliminated and even elevate our moods. It is called wind mill view point where you can clearly see sunset from where you sit.

The view is marvelous and remarkable. Many people grabbed camera and took photo with their loved one or selfie.

When the sun started to go down, writer and friends were occupied with taking photo. So, we missed part of the sunset but still catch the beautiful view. My friends asked me to take many photo even though my photography skill is the worst.

To point out, on your daily basis, you need to have food to stay awake during exhaustion. Hence me and my friends drove down to Phuket old town to have food. Luckily, we managed to find the spot to park a car and headed to restaurant quickly as we were running out of energy.

As you can see, many dishes are local but writer cannot remember the name of the dishes but one dish is called Gang Leung. We were kindly hungry at the time. Hence we went to the ice cream shop nearby to try local ice cream. Turn out It was super yummy. All of the ice cream was gone within 10 minutes.

Look at how buttery of fried bread. We did not hesitate to have one more plate of bread after. And also the ice cream was very flavorful. As It was my first time to go to Phuket, my friends who are local. They wanted me to visit old town at night to see many light decoration. And it was during christmas hence there were so many decoration along the street. One thing that surprise me was cuteness of Santa on top of the building.

Moreover, the writer was so astonished by how beautiful of buildings along the old town area. This reminds me of Penang where I can find many buildings. And they also maintain the color to be as it is.

To sum up, Phuket is one of the province in Thailand that is incredibly impressive. It is not that far from Bangkok but remain vibrant and diversity at the same time. The price here is not as expensive as you think. I paid around 7,000 THB including plane ticket and accommodation.

Here are the payment that have been made for my trip to Phuket.
Bus ticket 1200 THB
Food 2000 THB
Accommodation 1500 THB
Plane ticket to Chiang Mai 2000 THB
And hope you like this blog and see you soon for next trip.
